Education and Training

Dr. Gray earned his medical degree from the prestigious University of Washington School of Medicine. He then completed a rigorous five-year residency in Otolaryngology (ENT) – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Texas Health San Antonio, where he operated exclusively on the face, nose, and neck. Throughout his residency, Dr. Gray gained expertise in facial and nasal reconstruction, facial trauma repair, advanced rhinoplasty, head and neck cancer surgery, and modern facial rejuvenation techniques.

Following residency, Dr. Gray specialized further by completing a fellowship through the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with distinguished surgeon Dr. Sid Starkman in Scottsdale, Arizona — one of the nation’s busiest practices for facelift and rhinoplasty. During his fellowship, Dr. Gray honed his skills by participating in hundreds of deep plane facelifts, deep neck lifts, rhinoplasties, eyelid lifts, brow lifts, lip lifts, laser resurfacing and nonsurgical injection techniques.

Dr. Gray's Approach

Priority on patient advocacy, education, and transparency

“No matter your concern, we’ll work together to find a solution. The face is complex, and every great result requires a tailored approach to achieve balance and facial harmony. That is why I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all solution which inevitably leads to having a similar “look.” As each person’s face is unique, each plan is customized based on the issue, its severity, the anatomy, and your motivations and expectations. My goal is to (1) ensure you look like an improved and refreshed version of yourself, and to (2) help you feel confident and comfortable with your decision to pursue facial plastic surgery.

Education is the foundation to my approach. I spend significant time educating patients about facial plastic surgery, setting realistic expectations, and ensuring you have all the information needed to make informed decisions.

As a start, this website offers valuable information about facial plastic surgery procedures, including the risks, benefits, costs of surgery, and the expected recovery time. I encourage you to explore it and reach out with any questions. I look forward to welcoming you to Gray Facial Plastic Surgery.”
